Welcome
Welcome New York City straphangers and subway riders of all kinds to SubwayWeekender. Those of us who know the NYC subway intimately know that the most infuriating part of riding the subway is the never ending construction and maintenance work performed by the hard-working crews of the MTA. Unfortunately, the MTA’s announcements are often confusing, incomplete, poorly worded, or poorly organized. That’s why I created SubwayWeekender. Sometimes you just want to be able to look at the map and see which train is going where and when. Well look no further! Every Thursday, at the menu on your right you will find my NYC subway map updated with all the changes. It will show which tracks and in which direction every single train is going (or not going), as well as showing exactly which trains, in which direction are stopping at all 468 stations in the system. Getting around on weekends just got easier! You can also find a map of standard weekend service on the right. Plus I will update the blog with as much transit related news as I can get my hands on. I hope you all benefit from all the hard work I’ve put in to creating these maps. If you need to contact me with any questions or comments, click the “Contact” link on the right. Enjoy SubwayWeekender, and happy travels!
